How we set the new mesh
We keep the fabric taut without overstretching it while rolling the mesh and spline into the retaining groove with a spline roller. After all four sides are secured, we trim the excess mesh with a utility knife or scissors without cutting into the spline.
Panel edges and enclosure conditions
Some Jupiter concrete-block properties have a block foundation and a barrel roof carried by wood trusses or rafters. For panels at a roof edge or masonry connection, we check that attachment before rescreening.
At ground level, Jupiter soil can be shallow, poorly to very poorly drained sand over limestone. The sand may drain rapidly while the enclosure slab or post area stays wet. Annual precipitation varies, so a dry-looking sandy surface does not always mean the slab or post area is dry.
